Andrew Hutchinson - REVEAL Project Manager |

Andrew Hutchinson undertakes the role of REVEAL Project Manager. He is responsible for the management and operation of all aspects of the project on a day-to-day basis. He is an experienced teacher and adviser to schools.
Since September 2004 Andrew has been employed as a Learning Technologies Advisory Teacher at the Midlands Leadership Centre, University of Wolverhampton. Throughout his career he has worked on a number of high profile e-learning related projects, offering advice, “Hands On” support and guidance to schools in embedding different forms of ICT in the curriculum.
Andrew has wide experience in leading training sessions, staff meetings and professional development days, where, by working collaboratively with colleagues, he has helped raise overall standards in the teaching and learning and the use of ICT. Andrew believes in a supportive, sensitive and individual approach to staff training and development.
Andrew is committed to supporting the introduction of new technologies in education and to promoting the creative use ICT in the classroom.

Helen Sargeant - REVEAL Project Dissemination and Research |

Helen Sargeant began working at the Midlands Leadership Centre in January 2005. She has a career background in sales and marketing within commercial FMCG industries, the Higher Education sector and most recently within the 14-19 phase of education focussing on research and dissemination.
Helen’s research experience has involved a number of areas including qualification comparison, impact of e-learning initiatives, motivation and attitudes to language learning. Specific research projects have included identifying the impact of Digital Brain use on learners, teachers and institutions and the comparison of vocational and academic qualifications, involving issues such as motivation and implications for teaching and learning.
Helen has a BA (Hons) Business Studies degree and is currently in her third year of a Masters in Business Administration.

Diana Bannister, MBE - Development Director for Learning Technologies |

Diana Bannister is the Development Director for Learning Technologies at the Midlands Leadership Centre. Her work in the application of new technologies has placed her at the forefront of current thinking in this area. In 1999, Diana was the first recipient of the National Teaching Award for the ‘Most Creative Use of ICT in a Primary School.”
In September 2001, Diana joined the core team of the Midlands Leadership Centre. Whilst Diana has a specific remit to address projects and issues with an e-learning agenda, she is also responsible for some of the overall management duties within the centre, which includes research and development projects.
From September 2002 to July 2004 Diana gave substantial input to the University of Hull on the REVIEW Project – funded by NESTA. This led to the development of the CD – “The Good Guide to Interactive Whiteboards.”
Beyond her commitment to school improvement, Diana has an eternal passion to build understanding of the ways in which we can embrace the use of learning technologies and ICT to improve teaching and learning.
